This is an all-student organised optical seminar in conjunction to the celebration of the International Year of Light and the University of Kent 50th anniversary. The colloquium is organised by the Optical Society of America (OSA) Student’s Chapter of University of Kent.
The main topics of discussion was on the new development of optical technologies, such as the optical coherence tomography (OCT) and latest image processing techniques. As part of a joint effort between Applied Optics Group and the School of Electronics and Digital Art, the colloquium featured speakers from both schools, and open up avenues of collaboration between them in the future.
