PhD students entering in their third year, were giving presentations about their work and even if we have been in Kent for few months, the three of us presented our work. It was in front of a bunch of people from all kind of scientific backgrounds from Functional Material Group to Centre for Astrophysics and Planetary Science and the Applied Optics Group. We also attended a poster session given by the PhD students entering their second year.

We presented our projects. Magalie gave a talk on “Novel all-fibre-based supercontinuum light source for multimodal imaging”,

and Sophie on ” Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography”.

It was really interesting and challenging to try to make our talks not too simple but in the same time, accessible for all people from different scientific backgrounds.
