During my stay I’ve worked with most of Hao Zhang PhD’s student and especially with Xiao Shu. I’ve helped them to setup an OCT system for eyes imaging at Northwestern University hospital. My stay there was motivated my the idea of using the supercontinuum source I’ve build at NKT Photonics to do multimodal imaging. We performed multimodal photoacoustic microscopy on ex-vivo samples (blood and retinal pigment epithelium). We used as well this single source to perform simultaneous photoacoustic microscopy and optical coherence tomography.
These results I’ve been presented during Photonics West 2016 and a paper as already been submitted to a journal.
