Danish Opening Ceremony of the International Year of Light 2015

Magalie BONDU, Felix FLEISCHHAUER and Sophie CAUJOLLE

Lyngby (Denmark)
22nd to 23rd of January 2015

The Danish Physical Society celebrated the opening of the international year of light with a two day technical conference on the 22nd and 23rd of January 2015 at DTU Fotonik in Lyngby.

Three of the ESRs went as well to present UBAPHODESA and their projects.

The three participants were Magalie Bondu, Sophie Caujolle and Felix Fleischhauer. While Sophie Caujolle (“Thermal Light Source for Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography”) and Felix Fleischhauer (“Optical coherence microscopy with extended Depth-of-Focus”) presented a poster on their research work undertaken during their master studies, Magalie presented her research project in the UBAPHODESA program, with the title “Higher energy supercontinuum source for photoacoustic microscopy”.

All three ESRs used the opportunity to speak with peers about their research projects and got a lot of helpful and encouraging input for their future research.
